Maple Burin - Maple as a wood has the magickal properties of love, longevity and attracting money. Burins are used to inscribe your spells onto candles. Inscribing your candles before dressing and/or burning means more magical intent goes into your spell. Burins are specifically referred to in Gardner's book of shadows as being an instrument for engraving and a small blessing ceremony is given for them in his book. Our burins are suitable for inscribing symbols on candles and for other ritual purposes, and are equipped with a brass point. £14/$26
