SLEEPING
DREAMS - PSYCHIC DREAMS
Psychic dreams can be created through magic. Before going to
sleep, empty your mind of all extraneous thoughts. Concentrate on a
question if you have one, or simply relax and prepare for the night ahead.
Burn "eyebright" or sleep on a pillow of mugwort.
Sip "rosebud" tea at bed time or slip an onion or bay leaf under the pillow.
Sleep with the light of the Full Moon flooding over you, and wear silver
jewellery as
the subconscious mind is ruled by the Moon and both of these actions help
tap into that energy.
Write your question on a piece of paper, place nine rose petals on the
paper and fold it three times before slipping it under your pillow.
Burning a blue candle in the room will also promote prophetic dreams.
NIGHTMARES
Constant or recurring nightmares can be combated by telling them to the Sun
the morning after they occur. You shouldn't be plagued by them after that.
INSOMNIA
The key to fixing this is often as simple as identifying what it is that's
stressing you, whether it be your job, your relationship or the overhang of
a busy day in general.
Try one of ther relaxing baths outlined on Marmy's Bathroom page or a
meditation to clear your head and relax your body.
If the problem persists, try placing a branch of leaves at the head of the
bed, or lettuce leaves under your pillow. A lodestone or any magnet tied to
the bedhead, or wearing a lapis lazuli crystal might also help.
